Look Recalls Keo Blade Carbon Pedals

As someone who tracks cycling industry news closely, I picked up the practical knowledge of this Look pedal situation. Today, I will share it all with you.

Look has recalled its Keo Blade Carbon pedals manufactured between March and August 2025 due to a potential spindle defect. Affected pedals have serial numbers starting with KB25.

The company discovered during quality testing that a small batch of spindles may develop cracks under heavy use. No injuries have been reported, but Look is asking affected owners to stop using the pedals immediately.

Riders can verify if their pedals are affected by checking the serial number on the inner spindle area. Look created an online checker at their website where owners can enter the number for instant verification.

Affected pedals will be replaced free of charge regardless of where they were purchased. Look is offering expedited shipping to get replacement pedals to riders as quickly as possible.

The replacement process requires shipping the affected pedals back to Look, who will then send new units. Total turnaround time is estimated at 7-10 business days.
